Shirley is a Phase II Project Engineer specializing in the areas of highway and pedestrian lighting design, drainage design, highway and roadway design, and the development of contract plans and specifications. She is also one of the key staff on Civiltech’s lighting design team. Shirley has provided lighting design on projects for counties and municipalities throughout the Chicago area. Shirley has also served as project manager and coordinator for small cell installation projects.
Fun fact: Shirley was enlightened by switching majors in college. She had enrolled in an Electrical Engineering class only to realize that while she enjoyed aspects of it, she preferred Civil Engineering. From that experience, however, she realized that she could have the best of both worlds: A Civil Engineer specializing in lighting design.
