Supporting Our Employees’ Passions
We recognize that everyone finds fulfillment and motivation in different places. We believe our staff should follow their calling and encourage the pursuit of their goals.
To support our team’s individual passions, Civiltech has instituted a Volunteer Time Off policy. We provide time for our employees to volunteer in community service projects that are important to them.
Supporting our employees in their dedication to service is another important part of who we are.
Dedicated to Environmental Sustainability
We understand that our projects will impact the environment and communities in which they’re built for a very long time.
We are dedicated to developing Context Sensitive Solutions and to ensuring balance between the built and natural environments. Our environmental studies include:
- Drainage
- Water retention
- Noise abatement
- Context sensitive solutions
- Habitat disruption
Every project has to balance the natural and built environment.
Community Involvement in Every Project
We know the finished project provides positive outcomes and community enhancements . . . but the planning process and construction activities can create challenges for residents and stakeholders.
At Civiltech, we are dedicated to creative outreach and open communication with all stakeholders. That means:
- Community outreach and meeting participation
- Availability for questions
- Presentations about the project, its intended outcomes, and its impacts
- Agency communication support
We strive to be inclusive in the engagement process, recognizing our accountability to the communities and stakeholders affected by our projects.
Work with Responsible Civil Engineers
Your project is a reflection of your community. When you entrust us with your project, you are partnering with a firm committed to responsiveness, innovation, quality, and long-term client relationships.
A Year of Giving Back — 35 Signs of Kindness
In 2023, Civiltech celebrated 35 Signs of Kindness, a year-long initiative allowing us to give back in meaningful ways, both as a company and as individuals.
35 Signs of Kindness kicked off on February 17, 2023 – National Random Acts of Kindness Day, as a way to recognize and celebrate Civiltech’s 35th anniversary year. The activities were divided into 3 buckets – individual volunteering, individual donations, and Civiltech corporate charitable donations. Goals included impacting 35 different organizations with staff individual volunteer activities and raising a minimum of $3500 in staff individual donations.
We are proud to announce that we greatly exceeded our goals!
- Our staff donations exceeded $5,000 impacting over 84 organizations
- Our staff individual volunteer hours exceeded 500 hours impacting over 40 organizations
- Civiltech corporate charitable donations exceeded $27,000
