Since 1988, Jim has provided construction engineering services for transportation projects. He has served as the project/quality manager for all of Civiltech’s construction engineering projects since 2005. He provides experienced guidance for improvements ranging from multi-use paths to expressway reconstructions. Prior to joining Civiltech, Jim was employed with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) where he obtained extensive knowledge in project management, documentation procedures, materials testing, construction layout, and field inspection.
Fun fact: Jim is one of those rare Midwesterners who truly looks forward to winter and the colder weather. Each year, Jim and his kids construct a skating rink in his backyard which requires the cold temps to keep the fun going!
