Civiltech congratulates Amanda Kleinwachter, P.E., on being named Director of the Milwaukee Office! Amanda is certified as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in both Wisconsin and Illinois and has been leading Civiltech’s Wisconsin work for the last four years. With this new role, Amanda is focused on growing the services we offer our Wisconsin clients.
Amanda is thrilled to be serving our Wisconsin clients from our new office. Having worked extensively with the City of Milwaukee Public Works department, our team has enjoyed getting to know their staff. Amanda is excited to have a home base in Milwaukee allowing her to meet more people at the City of Milwaukee and to provide close and easy access for increased communication and responsive service.
As a Design Engineer, Amanda views this new role as an opportunity for a dynamic exchange of ideas. Transportation Engineering design solutions are often regional, therefore Civiltech can offer our Wisconsin clients fresh ideas and in turn can learn from their expertise and experience.
One of Amanda’s goals for this new role is building connections. Adding the benefit of the Milwaukee location with our expanding services in the region creates opportunities for connecting with new communities, agencies, and clients. Also, Amanda is focused on forging connections with Wisconsin-based emerging engineers. The Civiltech office is close to the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Marquette University, and University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee offering the opportunity to engage with students.
Amanda is focused on increasing involvement in professional organizations in the Milwaukee region. She is active in the Wisconsin chapters of WTS (Women’s Transportation Seminar) and ITE (Institute of Transportation Engineers). She shares that the ability to work from a Milwaukee location will facilitate participation in professional organizations and event attendance.
