Working side-by-side with our engineering, planning and nature-based solutions teams, our Landscape Architecture team integrates technical performance with thoughtful design. With a focus on multimodal mobility, placemaking, community identity and green infrastructure, our Landscape Architecture team delivers a full range of services from concept designs through construction documents, specifications and cost-estimates.
Our Landscape Architecture team also leads our digital rendering and visualization efforts. By utilizing the latest 3D modeling and rendering software, our digital rendering artists can convey complex engineering solutions in compelling visual renderings and animations that allow the public to fully envision a project long before construction begins. Our team delivers photorealistic still renderings at eye-level and birds-eye views to illustrate exact materials, geometric layouts, roadway configurations and landscaping/streetscaping details. Our visualization team also produces 3D video flythrough and walkthrough animation of proposed projects. These videos are produced in cinematic, high-definition detail and can incorporate traffic simulation modeling and provide a compelling way to communicate design ideas to the public and stakeholders.

At the intersection of art and technology is the exciting medium of digital rendering and visualizations. Civiltech’s digital rendering team is integrated within our Landscape Architecture department, and the team’s abilities are creating cutting-edge opportunities to serve our clients and pursue new work. The team produces renderings, 3D models, animations and graphics for a variety of purposes and end goals.
Our Digital Rendering team works to translate technical designs and plans into clear, compelling and photorealistic spatial experiences that can easily convey the goals and desired outcome of projects to a broad audience. Our team utilizes the latest digital rendering software to produce highly detailed models and cinematic animations that convey crucial project details. Our eye-level renderings can highlight specific materials, lighting, landscaping, views and context that places the viewer in the scene to easily envision how a proposed space will look, feel and function. Our birds-eye renderings provide dynamic overviews showing the scale and function of proposed projects. Our visualization team works hand-in-hand with our traffic engineering teams to integrate traffic simulation modeling into compelling cinematic 3D animations. These walkthroughs and flythroughs can illustrate how it feels to move through a corridor while accurately depicting what modeled traffic behaviors and volumes will look like in the proposed design.
