Barry is Civiltech’s Director of Nature-based Solutions (NbS), focusing on natural and nature-based feature (NNBF) planning and design. Barry has been working in the consulting field since 1990 and has combined his extensive civil engineering and natural resource experience in Civiltech’s NbS practice. Barry has experience with large and small projects for public and private stakeholders nationwide. His focus is on implementing NbS into civil site design, transportation design, wetland sciences and habitat restoration, natural and nature-based feature (NNBF) design, stormwater management and permitting, green infrastructure, stream and shoreline resilience, and biotechnologies, such as constructed treatment wetlands.
